FTC Approves Changes to Used Car Rule
In December 2012, the FTC sought public comments on proposed changes to the Buyers Guide. In response to comments received, the agency then sought comments on additional proposed changes to the Used Car Rule including alternative approaches for the vehicle history disclosure and the “As Is” statement. The Commission announced yesterday they are revising the Buyers Guide.
